Delete Your PPP TV Account & Data

You can permanently delete your PPP TV Handle, Meet Up profile, and the personal data associated with your account at any time. You do it yourself, in the app, and it takes effect immediately — you do not need to ask us.

1. Delete your account in the app

Open Profile › Settings › Delete my account & data, type your @handle to confirm, then tap Delete my account. Your account and content are erased straight away and you are signed out. There is no waiting period and no undo, so please be certain before you confirm.

If you can no longer sign in — lost phone or lost number — email prsp@ngomma.com from the email address linked to your account, with the subject "Delete my account" and your @handle. We verify the request and erase the account within 7 days. This route exists only for people locked out of their account; if you can sign in, use the app.

2. What gets deleted

Your Meet Up profile — bio, photo, birthday, gender, county and social handles.
Your Meet Up posts, and the photos and videos in them, including the copies held in our media storage.
Your comments, likes, reposts, poll votes, and who you follow and who follows you.
Your direct messages, room messages and saved stickers.
Your Live TV comment and voting history.
Your notifications, saved items, and the device tokens used to send you push notifications.
Any marketplace listings or events posted from the same account.

Your @handle is retired, not released — nobody else can ever claim it. This is deliberate: a freed handle could be re-registered by someone else and used to impersonate you.

Any Meet Up post you previously opted to air on PPP TV, and that already aired, cannot be recalled from a past broadcast — deleting your account removes it from the app, and stops any further use of it going forward.

3. What we keep, and why

Two things outlive the deletion. Everything in section 2 is gone.

Payment and payout records — Handle purchases, paid introduction requests and any payouts — for up to 7 years, as required by Kenyan tax and financial-record-keeping law. After deletion these are attached to an anonymous account number that no longer carries your name, phone number or email address.
A copy of your data, for 90 days. On deletion your content is moved to a secure archive, in case a lawful request from a court or the authorities arrives shortly afterwards. It is not used for any other purpose, is not visible in the app or to any other user, and is permanently erased automatically after 90 days.

We also keep a minimal permanent record that an account with your handle existed and was deleted, alongside a one-way cryptographic hash of your phone number. That lets us answer a lawful enquiry about a specific number without storing the number itself.
